Vizar Law, PLLC was founded in Brooklyn, New York in 2022 with the goal of assisting and educating noncitizens as they embark on a life-changing journey. Attorney Lauren A. Vizar ensures each of her clients completes the immigration process with far more legal and procedural knowledge than they initially had. At Vizar Law, PLLC, all clients are treated equally, with the utmost respect for their situations. Lauren A. Vizar works diligently to overcome challenges for her clients as they navigate the complex world of immigration law in New York and throughout the United States.
Lauren Vizar was raised in an ethnically diverse town on Long Island, where a large percentage of the population consisted of noncitizens and first-generation children of noncitizens. It is here that Lauren grew to appreciate and love diverse cultures. Lauren became passionate about immigration law due to her diverse upbringing and interest in learning about the complex immigration system in the United States. Lauren’s background and immersion into the noncitizen community allows her to practice with compassion and empathy for each client. She uses her knowledge and years of experience in immigration law to provide every client with individualized service and high-quality representation.
Lauren graduated from law school with her J.D. in 2016. She immediately began working as an immigration law fellow and eventually a staff attorney at the Touro Law Center immigration law clinic. Since 2016, Lauren has worked for both not-for-profit organizations and a private law firm representing noncitizens in: complex family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, asylum cases, and special immigrant juvenile status cases.
